Magomed Ozdoev

Magomed Ozdoev spent most of his career in midfield, but he became the club's top scorer in the Greek Superleague, with eight goals.

He began at Angusht before joining Lokomotiv Moscow's academy in 2010, where he signed his first professional contract that February and was handed a senior debut the same year. A loan spell took him to Rubin Kazan in 2014/15, and the Kazan club made the move permanent the following January on a free transfer.

Zenit signed him in February 2018 for around €3.3 million on a four-and-a-half-year deal, and he won the Russian championship four times, the Russian Cup once and the Russian Super Cup twice. He left as a free agent in the summer of 2022 for Fatih Karagümrük in Turkey, then joined PAOK in August 2023 and helped the club win the Greek title.

UEFA objected to the involvement of the Greek authorities in the case.

For Russia, he made 35 appearances between 2014 and 2021, scoring four goals, with his first coming against Romania in November 2016.
