About the player
Marcel Mendes-Dudziński grew up in Stargard, moving through Kluczevia Stargard, Brazil da Bola Stargard and Błękitni Stargard before joining Pogoń Szczecin's academy in 2017. Four years later, in 2021, he left for Portugal to join the youth ranks of S.L. Benfica, where he stayed until 2024. Before that move he had already had a taste of senior football, making three appearances for Pogoń Szczecin II in the III liga during the 2020–21 season. Born in Szczecin, he holds both Polish and Brazilian citizenship.
On 3 July 2024, Mendes-Dudziński returned to Poland to sign for Legia Warszawa on a free transfer, agreeing a four-year contract. Wearing number 31, he was an unused substitute for Legia's UEFA Europa Conference League fixtures against Chelsea and Molde during the 2024/25 season, though he did not make a senior competitive appearance for the first team. In January 2025 he was loaned out to second-division side Świt Szczecin for the second half of the 2025/26 campaign, but did not play a match there either. In July 2026 he left Legia permanently, signing a three-year contract with Piast Gliwice that runs until June 2029.
