About the player
Maksymilian Stryjek learned his trade in Warsaw, coming through Agrykola Warsaw and Polonia Warsaw before Sunderland brought him into their academy in 2013. He stayed on Wearside until 2019. When Eastleigh made the move permanent in 2019, Stryjek became a regular, playing 37 league matches the following season.
A move to Livingston followed in 2020, and after two years in Scotland he joined Wycombe Wanderers on a free transfer. He left Wycombe that May.
Stryjek then returned to Poland, signing for Jagiellonia Białystok in 2024. He was part of the squad that beat Wisła Kraków 1–0 to win the 2024 Polish Super Cup, though he watched that match from the bench. In 2025 he moved to Scotland once more, this time joining Kilmarnock.
At youth international level, Stryjek represented Poland from under-17 through under-19, and was called into the under-21 squad in March 2017, though he did not add caps at that level or with the senior side.
