About the player
Nahuel Eloy Arena came through Vélez Sarsfield's academy and made his professional debut there in 2018. The move that shaped his career came in January 2019, when Godoy Cruz bought half of his playing rights for a reported 750,000 US dollars.
A loan to Estudiantes de Buenos Aires in October 2020 brought him 28 league appearances before he returned to the parent club in January 2022.
In January 2025 Arena left Argentina for the first time, joining Ecuadorian side C.S.D. Macará on a free transfer.
