Njegoš Petrović

Krupanj gave Serbian football a player who spent his teenage years moving through the national youth set-up almost without a break. Between the under-16 and under-19 sides, Njegoš Petrović collected 50 caps and five goals, and he added nine more with the under-21s after his debut at that level in 2019.

His club career started at FK Rađevac and took shape at FK Rad, where he signed a scholarship in 2014 and made his SuperLiga debut in August 2016. Three years in the first team brought roughly 64 appearances and three goals — enough for Red Star Belgrade to pay €400,000 for him in August 2019, with a fifth of any future sale written into the deal.

At Red Star he won the SuperLiga twice, in 2019–20 and 2020–21, and the Serbian Cup in 2020–21. That run ended in January 2022, when Granada CF signed him permanently for a fee reported at €1.5–1.6 million.

By January 2024 he was back in Serbia, joining Vojvodina on loan with an option to buy. The club used it in June that year, paying €800,000 to make the move permanent.

The senior Serbia call has not come. For all the youth caps, Petrović has yet to make his debut for the full national side.
