Otar Mamageishvili

Otar Mamageishvili came through the youth academy at Saburtalo Tbilisi, joining in 2009 and working his way up to a senior debut for the club in 2021. The years that followed were productive ones: across 90 league appearances for Saburtalo, later rebranded Iberia 1999, he scored 15 goals from midfield. He won the Georgian Cup twice, in 2021 and 2023, and lifted the Erovnuli Liga title in 2024, a season in which he was also named the league's Midfielder of the Year. Earlier, in December 2021, he had picked up the Aleksandre Chivadze Silver Medal as the best Under-19 player in the country.

That body of work took him abroad in January 2025, when Famalicão signed him from Iberia 1999 for a reported fee of €800,000 on a contract running to June 2029. In June 2026 he moved on loan to the Austrian club Wolfsberger AC for the 2026/27 season, with an option to buy included in the deal. He marked his Wolfsberger debut with a hat-trick.

Mamageishvili has represented Georgia extensively at youth level, with caps for the Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 sides. His most sustained involvement came with the Under-21s, for whom he made 24 appearances and scored three goals between 2022 and 2025. He has yet to add a senior cap for Georgia to that record.
