Óscar Uriel Macías Mora

Óscar Uriel Macías Mora came through Chivas' academy before making his first-team debut in October 2017, in a 3-2 win over Veracruz.

The most productive of those spells came at Tapatío, where he made 28 appearances and scored eight goals in his first stint, then returned for a second run of 50 games. It was there, in the Clausura 2023 season, that Macías captained the side to the Liga de Expansión MX title.

That form led to a permanent move to Atlético San Luis at the turn of 2024. He signed a contract running to June 2027.

Internationally, Macías has represented Mexico at youth level, earning a single cap for the under-21s in 2018. His most notable honour with the national team came with the under-23 side at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, where he came off the bench in the bronze-medal match against Uruguay, won 1-0. The result made him the first player from Ocotlán to win a Pan American medal in men's football with Mexico. He has not been capped by the senior national team.
