About the player
Osman Hadžikić came through the Austrian system, moving between SV Schwechat and the Austria Wien academy before settling with the Vienna club permanently in 2010. He worked his way up through Austria Wien II and eventually the first team, where he made 57 appearances between 2014 and 2018. He also featured twice in the ÖFB-Cup that season, including a first-round win over FC Mohren Dornbirn 1913 and a quarter-final against FC Admira Wacker, though Austria Wien went out at that stage.
After leaving Vienna as a free agent, he moved to FC Zürich, which brought no first-team football, and a loan to NK Inter Zaprešić. A subsequent spell at Admira Wacker Mödling. He joined FK Velež Mostar in 2023, making 67 appearances.
Although born in Austria, Hadžikić switched his international allegiance to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2023 through his heritage.
