Peter Itodo

Peter Itodo came through Nigerian academy football — spells at Santoma, Super Eagles Academy, Charlesanne and City — before making his professional move to Europe with Albania's Luzi 2008 in 2023. In the second tier there he finished as the division's top scorer, a return that made a step up inevitable.

That move came in 2024, to Dinamo City in the Albanian Superliga, where the goals kept coming. He ended the 2024/25 season as top scorer of the Albanian Cup and lifted the trophy with the club.

In August 2025, Metalist 1925 brought him to Ukraine on a four-year deal, and he was thrown straight into a debut against Kolos. The goals took a little longer to arrive in the Ukrainian Premier League than they had in Albania, but he found his rhythm in the cup competition, finishing the 2025/26 Ukrainian Cup campaign as its top scorer in the knockout stage. A first career hat-trick followed in April 2026, in a 4-0 win over Veres Rivne.

Interest from elsewhere has already surfaced: Moroccan side Raja CA were reported to have made an approach in December 2025, though it did not progress to talks. For now, at Metalist 1925, Itodo remains a forward still adding to a scoring record that has followed him through three countries in three years.
