About the player
Karamoko was leading the CAF Champions League's scoring charts with four goals for ASEC Mimosas when Wolfsberger AC paid around €400,000 to sign him in January 2024, cutting short a run in which he had already helped the Ivorian club to back-to-back league titles, a Coupe de Côte d'Ivoire and a Coupe Houphouët-Boigny. He had come through the Académie MimoSifcoms, ASEC's youth setup, before joining the senior squad in 2022 and establishing himself as a regular scorer over the following two seasons.
In Austria he split time between Wolfsberger AC's first team and its reserve side in the Regionalliga Mitte, and was part of the squad that won the ÖFB-Cup in 2024–25. In July 2025 he moved to Serbia on loan, joining FK IMT Novi Beograd for the SuperLiga season. He made 31 appearances and scored 8 goals during the loan, before returning to Wolfsberger in July 2026.
Karamoko has also featured for the Ivory Coast, earning five caps and scoring once. He was named in the squad for the 2022 African Nations Championship, where he scored against Uganda, and has also played in a senior friendly for the national team.
