About the player
His Chinese Super League debut followed in September 2022, against Hebei. Suzhou Dongwu took him for the second half of the 2023 China League One season, where he made 22 appearances and scored once, before Shenzhen Juniors, then in China League Two, borrowed him for 2024, when he again scored once in 26 outings. A second loan spell at Shenzhen followed in 2025, this time in China League One, though the goal did not repeat itself across another 26 games.
That loan arrangement ended in December 2025, and in February 2026 Shenzhen made the move permanent, signing Shi on a free transfer from Beijing Guoan.
At youth level, Shi was capped twice by China's under-18 side and made one appearance for the under-19s in a 2019 friendly, but he has not featured for the senior national team. He was part of the Beijing Guoan squad that lifted the 2020 Chinese FA Cup, having debuted in the final itself.
