Tobias Heintz

Tobias Heintz broke through as a senior player at Sarpsborg 08, having come up through Moss FK and SK Sprint-Jeløy, where he made his senior debut with seven league appearances in 2014. In January 2019 it earned him a transfer to Turkish side Kasımpaşa for a fee reported between 10 and 15 million NOK.

After a loan spell back at Sarpsborg 08 in 2020, Heintz signed for BK Häcken in February 2021 on a free transfer. A second loan to Sarpsborg 08 followed in 2022, and it was there that he had his standout campaign: 13 goals in the Eliteserien, a club record for a single season, and the league's Player of the Month award for September that year.

That form took him to CSKA Sofia in January 2023 for a fee of €600,000, where he spent two seasons, scoring nine goals in 62 league appearances before his contract was terminated by mutual agreement in early 2025. He returned to Scandinavia on 13 January 2025, signing a three-year deal with IFK Göteborg on a free transfer.

His first season in Gothenburg brought 8 goals and 8 assists in 25 Allsvenskan appearances, including a brace against Degerfors IF in May and further goals against AIK and his former club BK Häcken later in the year. Heintz has represented Norway at youth level through the U17 to U21 age groups but has not yet been capped by the senior national team. He went on indefinite leave from the squad in late January 2026 following the birth of his daughter.
