Toni Tamarit

Toni Tamarit's route into professional football began with a false start. Spotted by Valencia's academy in 2019, he lasted only eighteen months there before returning to UD Alboraya, the club where he had trained since leaving Caxton College at the age of eleven.

At Alboraya, and later with Villarreal C, Tamarit made his name as a forward rather than a defender. In the 2023/2024 season he scored eight goals in 28 games for Alboraya's reserve side, and he was signed by Villarreal in July 2024. He spent a season in the Tercera Federación with Villarreal C, then a move into Villarreal B in the Primera Federación, where he made six appearances.

In August 2025, Villarreal sent Tamarit to Segunda División side CD Mirandés for the 2025/2026 season, and he started his debut against Cádiz that same month. He went on to make 31 appearances for Mirandés across the campaign, supplying two assists without scoring, wearing squad number 27.

When the loan ended, Tamarit returned briefly to Villarreal before completing a permanent transfer to Portugal's FC Alverca on 1 July 2026, with the two clubs splitting his future economic rights.
