Youri Pieter Regeer

Youri Regeer captained Jong Ajax in the Eerste Divisie, making 91 appearances and scoring 6 goals for the side between 2020 and 2023. He made his senior debut for Ajax in December 2021 and was part of the squad that won the Eredivisie title in the 2021–22 season, though his opportunities in the first team remained limited.

In June 2023 Regeer moved to FC Twente on a four-year deal that included a buy-back clause for Ajax. He made 65 official appearances across two seasons at Twente, scoring twice and setting up five goals, and was named Eredivisie Talent of the Month before being included in the Team of the Month for both September and October 2023.

Ajax activated the buy-back clause in January 2025, bringing Regeer home for a fee reported between €4.3 million and €4.5 million and tying him to a contract until June 2029. His second Ajax spell was brief: in August 2026 the club sent him out on loan to Werder Bremen for the 2026–27 season, a deal worth €200,000 that sees Werder cover his wages and hold an option to sign him permanently for €5 million.

Regeer plays as a right-footed defender and has not yet earned a senior international cap.
