Yevhen Zaporozhets

Yevhen Zaporozhets spent almost a decade at one club before the game took him on a short tour of Kyiv-area football that ended at Epitsentr Dunayivtsi. Born in Dnipropetrovsk, he came through the academy at ISTA before starting out with Dnipropetrovsk's reserve side in regional competition. In 2014 he moved to AF Pyatykhatka, the club that would grow into FC Inhulets Petrove, and stayed there until 2023, taking in loan spells with the club's satellite teams along the way.

His time at Inhulets brought the fullest run of his career. He reached a Ukrainian Cup final with the club, though it ended in a heavy defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk, and collected bronze medals in both the First League and the Second League in separate seasons before finally winning the First League title in the 2023/24 campaign. He had already won a silver medal in the Ukrainian Amateur Championship back in 2014, in his first season with the Pyatykhatka side.

In January 2024 he left on a free transfer for Obolon Kyiv, making six appearances in his half-season there, including two in the relegation play-offs against Livyi Bereh Kyiv that kept Obolon in the top flight. His contract ran out that summer, and he moved on again without a fee attached, joining Epitsentr Dunayivtsi. The pattern held there too: Epitsentr won the First League in the 2024/25 season, giving Zaporozhets a title with a second different club inside two years.

He has not been capped by Ukraine at any level.
