ADO Den Haag Women

The KNVB Women's Cup came to ADO Den Haag three times — 2012, 2013 and again in 2016.

The Eredivisie Vrouwen title in 2011–12, the BeNe League the following season when the Dutch and Belgian competitions merged, the cups stacked on top. Then the run stopped. The nearest they have come since was the 2021 cup final, lost 1–0 to PSV, and a place in the championship play-offs that same season alongside Twente, PSV and Ajax.

The women's side was set up on 21 January 2007, one of six clubs that started the Eredivisie Vrouwen from nothing. Only three of those six have played every season of the league since. ADO are one of them, which matters more than any of the trophies.

Europe came almost immediately — a qualifying group in the 2007–08 UEFA Women's Champions League , one win, one draw, two defeats. The one proper tie came five years later against Rossiyanka, 5–3 down on aggregate over two legs.

In 2023 the women's operation was folded fully into the men's club.

They play at the WerkTalent Stadion out in the Forepark district, a ground of 15,000 that has been theirs since the first season and has changed sponsor's name four times over — Kyocera, Cars Jeans, Bingoal, and now this one.
