Čáslav FK

The senior club grew out of a school. In 1902 pupils at the Septimáni school in Čáslav formed SK Stella, taking its name from the Latin word for star. The club has worn different names since — SK Kosmos from 1949, then FC Zenit from 1989 — before returning to a version of its own town's name, FK Čáslav, in 2011.

Promotion has come once, in 2005–06, when the club won the Bohemian Football League and moved up into the Czech National Football League. Three seasons later they finished second there and reached a playoff for a place in the Czech First League, a tie they lost to 1. FK Příbram. The region title won in 2024–25 belongs five tiers down.

Players have mostly passed through on loan rather than come up through the club's own ranks. Michael Krmenčík spent the 2012–13 season at what was then Zenit Čáslav, making 20 appearances before moving on to Viktoria Plzeň and, later, Club Brugge and Slavia Prague.

Home games are played at Stadion pod Hrádkem, known locally as Vodranty, where 2,575 people can watch: 575 of them seated, the rest standing.
