Crowborough Athletic

Mark Swainston arrived at the Charles Century Community Stadium in late 2025 having played his football for Kitchee SC and Eastern in Hong Kong.

The Crows finished as runners-up in the Southern Combination Premier Division in 2024–25, then won the promotion play-offs by beating Eastbourne United 2–1 in the final to reach the Isthmian League South East Division. In 2007–08 Crowborough won the Sussex County League Division One title and went up to the Isthmian League Division One South, and came straight back down again the following season. That same 2007–08 campaign also produced the club's best FA Vase run, to the Fifth Round, and the year before it their best FA Cup run, to the Third Qualifying Round.

Barry Shaw's route ran the other way: he left Crowborough for Darlington in 1968, one of the few names from the club to go on and play Football League football. Reece Connolly's arrival, by contrast, came after spells in non-league football with Aldershot Town and elsewhere.

Rusthall, their nearest neighbours, remain the fixture supporters mark out above the rest, even without a name attached to it. The club's own story starts earlier than any of that, in 1894, long before the ground on Fermor Road existed at all.
