Garudayaksa

Andik Vermansyah joined a squad that did not exist a year before he pulled on its shirt. The veteran midfielder, along with South Korean playmaker Ryu Seung-woo and Brazilian forward Everton Nascimento, arrived at a club built not from scratch but from a takeover: on 4 June 2025 the ownership group behind President Prabowo Subianto's Garudayaksa Football Academy, established in 2023, acquired PSKC Cimahi and renamed it Garudayaksa FC.

The old identity did not vanish quietly. PSKC Cimahi, itself descended from Persikoci Cimahi, had taken the West Java Liga 3 title three years running, from 2017 to 2019, and reached the national Liga 3 final that same year.

The kit tells its own story: maroon was the original colour, but the club switched its home shirt to white to commemorate the jersey worn when promotion was clinched, keeping maroon for away days. That promotion came in the new club's first season, 2025–26, when Garudayaksa won the Liga 2 Championship, beating PSS Sleman on penalties in the final, 4–3, after the tie had finished 2–2. It sent them up to the BRI Super League.
