Kolín

Twice in fourteen years the club climbed out of the Bohemian Football League and twice the second tier sent it straight back down. The 2001 promotion ended with a last-place finish and 21 points; the 2014 title bought a season that produced 15. Both campaigns ended in relegation.

The name on the shirt has changed almost as often as the division. It began as SK Sparta Kolín in 1912, spent four decades after the war as TJ Jiskra Kolín, then passed through FK Mogul Kolín and plain FK Kolín before the original name came back in 2020. As did Kolíňáci — the word for people of the town, borrowed for the team.

Václav Jurečka arrived on loan for the 2014–15 season, the one spent being overrun in the second tier. He went on to play for the Czech national side and to finish a season as its league's leading scorer.

The ground sits in the Borky district on the edge of town. The fixture that fills it is FK Čáslav, twenty-odd kilometres south.

Recent seasons have been measured in cup rounds rather than promotions. The club reached the third round of the MOL Cup in 2023–24, where Bohemians 1905 won 7–1, and got that far again the following year.
