Orsha

Nikolai Kitaev took over as head coach for the 2025/2026 season, one name in a long line stretching back through Yury Konoplev, Sergei Vekhtev and others who have each spent a few seasons trying to push Orsha into Belarus's top flight without ever managing it. Under Kitaev, forward Maksim Pashkevich has scored 12 league goals, while Dmitry Tamelo and Ivan Berezun have each captained the side at different points.

The club traces back to 1951, when it played under the name Start and built its reputation entirely within Vitebsk region football. Between 1961 and 1976, the team won the Vitebsk Region Cup four times and the regional championship on four further occasions between 1968 and 1977. Its closest brush with wider honours came in 1971, when it reached the final of the Byelorussian SSR Cup and lost twice to Torpedo Zhodino, 0-4 and 1-2, in the same year it finished fourth in the republic's championship — still the best league placing of its Soviet years.

Independence brought repeated changes of name and status, but not promotion to the Belarusian Premier League. Orsha has won the Second League three times, in 1995, 2004 and 2014, each time earning a step up in class. The best First League finish came in 2016, seventh place, and in the Belarusian Cup the club has twice reached the last 16 and once, in 2017, the last 8. Gleb Zhelezhnikov, named the club's best player in 2020, stands among its most productive forwards, alongside Russian import David Samedov.

Orsha plays its home matches at the TsSK Gorodskoy stadium, a ground holding under 3,000 spectators in the city that gives the club its name and its blue-and-white colours.
