Truro City

The club's own ground has rarely stayed put. Tolgarrick was lost to road widening in 1975, dropping Truro City back into the Cornwall Combination for three seasons. Treyew Road took over as home for years afterwards, until the land was sold to Lidl in 2018, a deal that put £2.1 million towards a new Stadium for Cornwall project. What followed was five years without a fixed base, playing home matches at Torquay United, Plymouth Parkway, Taunton Town and Gloucester City before the club finally returned to Truro in 2022–23, into the new Truro City Stadium at Threemilestone.

Founded in 1889 as a founding member of the Cornwall County Football Association, the club waited until 2007 for its first national honour, beating AFC Totton 3-1 in the FA Vase final and becoming the first Cornish side to win a trophy at that level. Domestic league titles followed in the Western Football League and the Southern Football League Premier Division, and in 2024–25, in its stadium's first full season back in the city, Truro City won the National League South to reach the National League for the first time.
