Vitória Guimarães Feminino open the 2025–26 season in the Campeonato Nacional Feminino, Portugal's top division, after winning the Campeonato Nacional II Divisão Feminino in 2024–25.
That re-formation happened on 12 October 2018, after the side that had represented Vitória in the late 1980s had long since stopped playing. Starting again meant starting low, in the Second Division for 2018–19, and building up from there rather than picking up where the earlier team left off. Ivo Roque took over as coach in September 2022 and was still in charge when the promotion was won.
The team plays in the colours of the parent club, all white at home and all black away, and answers to the same nicknames as the men's side, Os Conquistadores among them. Its derby is against Sporting Braga, played as the Derby do Minho.
Matches are held at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques in Guimarães.
