Znicz Pruszków

The team that plays in Pruszków's yellow and red began life under another name. It was Tur Pruszków at first, and the change to Znicz came in the second half of the 1920s.

For most of that time Znicz belonged to the regional divisions. Promotion out of the Warsaw district league arrived in 1998, the fourth tier was won two years later, and in 2006/07 the club took the third division and reached the second tier for the first time. In 2024 the club named him its player of the century.

In between came the run to the quarter-finals of the Puchar Polski in 2014/15, ended by Lech Poznań.

Radosław Majewski, brought through the club's own academy and later a Poland international, came home to finish his career at Znicz in 2024.

The ground on ul. Bohaterów Warszawy holds 2,097, with a hundred of those places set aside for away supporters.
