About the player
Andrea González arrived at Atlante Femenil as a free agent in July 2026, joining a club that only came into being that summer after Mazatlán Femenil was disbanded and its place in Liga MX Femenil handed to the new Atlante project. Her arrival forms part of the squad Atlante built from scratch ahead of its debut in the Apertura 2026.
González's most productive spell on record came at Puebla Femenil, where she made 34 appearances and scored one goal. She then moved to Tijuana Femenil in July 2024, adding ten appearances and a further goal before switching to León Femenil at the start of 2025. She stayed at León through the following season before leaving as a free agent and signing with Atlante. Earlier in her career she had also played for Querétaro Femenil.
At Atlante, she joins a squad assembled under head coach Darío Álvarez, with the team presented to the public in late July 2026 and training at the Cancha 1 del CAR Atlante in Cuernavaca.
