About the player
Abilkhair Aliakbar made his name before he ever pulled on the gloves for a senior club side. Playing for Kazakhstan's under-17 side at the Development Cup in Minsk in 2023, he was part of the national team that finished as runners-up.
His club career has moved through several stops in a short space of time. He came up through Kaisar before leaving in October 2023 for Jas Qyran, a First League side, where he spent several months. In February 2024 he moved on again, joining Khan Tengri, where he stayed for roughly a year.
In January 2025 Aliakbar signed for Altay as a free agent, arriving without a transfer fee changing hands between the clubs, and he now wears the number 35 shirt.
