Andrii Yakymiv

Andrii Yakymiv played 24 of the 30 playoff matches that took Livyi Bereh into the Ukrainian Premier League for the 2025/26 season.

He came through the youth system at UFK Lviv and then Karpaty Lviv, where he made no senior appearances. His first senior football came at Stal Kamianske from 2016. He made 27 appearances there and scored once. That goal, against Zorya Luhansk on 16 July 2017, was his first at senior level.

Four appearances for Desna Chernihiv followed, then a free transfer to Hungary and Kaposvári Rákóczi, where he played 15 times. Chornomorets Odesa gave him seven appearances. After that he moved on to Inhulets Petrove and Nõmme Kalju in Estonia, before a season with Lviv that brought six appearances. Across all clubs he has played 132 matches and scored 11 goals.

He joined Livyi Bereh on a free transfer in July 2023, signing a two-year contract. Supporters noticed him quickly: they voted him the club's Player of the Season for 2023/24, with 36 per cent of the vote. In November 2024 they named him Player of the Month, this time with 48 per cent. He has made more than 68 league appearances for the club and scored at least six goals.

He has not played for Ukraine at senior or youth level, so his reputation rests on his club career, and above all on the run to the top flight.
