About the player
Anton Yashkov made his Ukrainian Premier League debut on 30 July 2019, against Mariupol. He spent six years on the books at Metalurh Donetsk, from 2009 to 2015, without playing a match for the club.
His one appearance for Ukraine's under-21s came on 29 March 2011, a friendly against Serbia. He came on as a substitute and conceded once in a 2–2 draw. A loan at Hoverla in 2012–13 gave him one senior match and one goal conceded. In 2015 he played twice for Bukovyna and conceded six.
Kolos Kovalivka gave him regular football. Between 2015 and 2020 he made 75 appearances for the club and conceded 73 goals, and it was there that the Premier League debut came. He then went to Polissya Zhytomyr on loan in 2020, playing three matches, and stayed on after the loan. Across 2021 to 2023 he played six times for the club.
The following season, 2023–24, he played 22 matches for Zviahel and conceded 17 goals. He is the team's captain.
