About the player
Bohdan Veklyak returned to Karpaty Lviv in July 2023. This time he played in the Premier League: 14 appearances and one goal, plus three matches for the reserve side, Karpaty-2.
He had come up through the youth teams of Skala Morshyn and Skala Stryi before joining Karpaty's academy in 2018. His senior career began in 2020 at Hirnyk-Sport Horishni Plavni, where he played 21 games and scored once. That year he was also listed in the Golden Talent project, which follows young players born in 1999 or later.
He signed for Olimpik Donetsk in January 2021 on a 2.5-year contract and played four times. Minaj took him in July of that year, and he made ten appearances. In February 2022 he joined Metalurg Zaporizhzhia, where he played 16 matches and scored one goal. All three moves were free transfers.
Metalurg was the club where he played most regularly before Karpaty.
In July 2025 Veklyak joined Kudrivka, again on a free transfer. He has made more than 21 appearances for the club.
