Juan David Fuentes Garrido

Juan David Fuentes scored 103 goals in a single season for the youth side EF Montcada, a tally that preceded his move into FC Barcelona's La Masia academy. He joined the academy in 2017, aged 14, and worked his way up to the club's reserve side.

His senior debut came for FC Barcelona B in 2022. He played 26 matches for them and scored twice. He plays in midfield and can also be used on the wing.

In the summer of 2023 he left Spain for Belgium, joining K.V. Oostende on a free transfer. He played 13 matches there and scored twice. A year later he returned to Spain, again on a free transfer, this time to FC Andorra.

The 2025-26 season was his busiest at senior level. Andorra loaned him to Gimnàstic de Tarragona on 24 July 2025, and he made 35 appearances and scored three goals.

On 10 July 2026 he signed for Penafiel in Portugal. Andorra kept a 40% sell-on clause in the deal, so the Spanish club would receive part of any future transfer fee.

Fuentes has played for Colombia at youth level. He won three caps for the under-17 side between 2019 and 2021, and four for the under-20s between 2022 and 2023. Two of those under-20 appearances came in the 2023 South American U20 Championship, and the other two were friendlies. He did not score for either team and has yet to be capped by the senior side.
