Tiago Filipe Prazeres Ferreira

Tiago Ferreira came through the academy at Sporting CP, where he played from 2010 until 2021. His father is the former footballer José Mamede. Ferreira was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy.

Sporting gave him his first professional contract in 2019. In December 2020 he signed an extension that ran until 2025. He spent the next three seasons with Sporting CP B, making 39 appearances and scoring six goals. Those were his first regular senior minutes.

His years with Portugal's youth teams ran alongside the academy. He was capped at under-15 level in 2017, played for the under-16s in 2017 and 2018, and had one match for the under-17s in 2019. He then played six times for the under-18s in 2019 and 2020. In all he won 19 youth caps. His only international goal came at under-18 level.

In June 2024 he left Sporting for Estrela da Amadora on a two-year contract. He played three times there in 2024–25, and the spell was short.

The move to Portimonense in 2025 gave him a longer run. The contract is for two years, with an option for a third. He has played 27 games for the club and scored twice. He is listed as a midfielder but can also play on the wing, and he wears 18.
