About the player
He signed for Vasco da Gama in 2015 but never made the club's first team, and loan moves to Bonsucesso and Botafogo-SP followed in 2017. Spells at São Bernardo and Oeste kept him in the game, and it was a loan to Fortaleza in 2021 that changed his trajectory: he became a fixture in the side.
At Fortaleza he won back-to-back Campeonato Cearense titles in 2021 and 2022 and lifted the Copa do Nordeste in 2022, while also going out on loan to Qatar SC and to Cruzeiro. In February 2024 he left Brazilian football altogether, moving to Shanghai Port in a deal covering 75% of his rights. The switch to China paid off quickly: Shanghai Port won the Chinese Super League in both 2024 and 2025, and added the Chinese FA Cup in 2024.
In January 2026 he moved on again, joining Chengdu Rongcheng on a free transfer. He has never been capped by Brazil at senior level, and his career has been built less on flashes of individual recognition than on steady accumulation.
