Benfica file four-point complaint against FC Porto over clash

About the player
Miguel Nogueira is a product of the Vitória SC academy, which he joined around 2019. He was an undisputed starter for the club's U19 side in the 2023/2024 season before stepping up to Vitória SC B, where he became the team's top scorer in 2024/2025 with nine goals in 15 matches, a run that helped the side reach the promotion phase in the Campeonato de Portugal.
Nogueira made his senior debut for Vitória SC in August 2024 under Gil Lameiras, and it was in the 2025/2026 season that he established himself in the first-team squad. The clearest marker of that progress came on 4 April 2026, when he scored his first goal for the senior side in a 5-0 win over Tondela that ended a poor run of results for the club.
Those performances brought international recognition. In March 2026 he was called up to the Portugal under-21 side, making his debut as a substitute for Gustavo Sá. He had already featured for the under-20 team earlier in the year, scoring once in five appearances at the Torneio Maurice Revello and adding four further caps in the Liga de Elite Sub-20.
Vitória SC moved to secure his future in June 2024, renewing his contract to run to 2028.
