Oisín Gallagher

Gallagher's route to Barnet has gone through more clubs than most players see in a decade. Derry-born, he came up through Newell Academy before joining Derry City, then crossed to Lincoln City in 2021, where he signed his first professional contract. Getting into Lincoln's senior side took time and a string of loans — spells at Barwell, Peterborough Sports and Drogheda United, followed by two separate stints at Boston United. The first of those, in early 2025, was cut short by injury.

Lincoln have stuck with him regardless. Before sending him out again this summer, the club tied him to a new three-year contract, preceding his season-long loan move to Barnet. The move to north London gives him another chance to find the consistent first-team run that has eluded him since his Lincoln debut in 2022.

Internationally, Gallagher has followed a clear path through the Republic of Ireland's youth ranks, having qualified through dual citizenship despite his Northern Irish background. He earned eight caps for the U19s before stepping up to the U21s, where he scored on his debut against Kazakhstan. He has yet to add a senior cap.

At Barnet, right foot and a defensive midfield profile in mind, Gallagher arrives with more experience of loan spells than of settled first-team football.
