About the player
Sixten Gustafsson scored all ten goals in AIK's 15-0 win over IK Brage in a Ligacup match on 9 March 2024. It is the result most often attached to his name, though the route that brought him there is longer.
Gustafsson joined AIK at the age of five and came through every level of the club's youth system. In 2023 he was part of the side that won the P16 Allsvenskan. He scored twice in the final, a 4-2 win over IF Brommapojkarna. He also played for Sweden at under-17 level, winning six caps and scoring once between 2022 and 2023.
His first-team breakthrough came in 2025, when he made his Allsvenskan debut. He scored his first league goal against Örgryte IS. He also scored the winning goal in a 3-2 derby victory over Hammarby.
In January 2026 AIK gave him his first professional contract, running until 2030. He was then loaned to Enköping for 2026, which gave the young forward a season of senior football away from Solna.
At 188 centimetres, Gustafsson is a centre-forward. His record so far is one of finishing: a ten-goal match in youth football, two goals in a final, and a first-team goal in a derby.
