About the player
Ribeiro was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, to a Brazilian father and a Portuguese mother, and holds American-Portuguese dual nationality, though it is Portugal she represents at international level. She made her senior debut for the national side against Malta in a Euro 2025 qualifier, and scored in that same match, a 3-1 win.
She began in Norway with IK Grand Bodø, scoring four goals in ten appearances, then moved to Avaldsnes IL without breaking into the first team. In Iceland, with Þróttur Reykjavík, she found her scoring form again, netting ten goals in 15 games. She then joined HB Køge in Denmark, where she won the league title in her first season with the club, adding two goals in 12 appearances along the way.
In July 2021 she signed for Club América, becoming the first foreign player in the Mexican club's history. She scored the first goal by a foreign player in Liga MX Femenil history during her spell there, finishing with 11 appearances and a goal before being released that December. She joined Pumas UNAM Women the following January, wearing the number 7 shirt, on a contract reported to run until the end of 2026.
