About the player
Yuriy Pertsukh came up through the CSKA Almaty academy, making his senior debut in 2015 before a loan spell at Bayterek.
His years in the capital were the productive spell of his career. Pertsukh won the Kazakhstan Premier League twice, in 2019 and 2022, and lifted the Kazakhstan Super Cup three times, in 2018, 2019 and 2020. He also played in European competition with Astana, appearing in Champions League qualifiers, the Europa League and the Europa Conference League, and was sent out on loan several times during that period, to Astana M, Atyrau and Aktobe.
Pertsukh has represented Kazakhstan since 2018, earning 16 caps and scoring once, against Scotland in Euro 2020 qualifying in March 2019. He has also featured in the UEFA Nations League for the national side.
After leaving Astana, his path grew more itinerant: Shakhtyor Karagandy in 2023, Yelimay in 2024, a return to Shakhtyor early in 2025, then FK Turan Turkistan later that year. He joined Kyzyl-Zhar on a free transfer in January 2026, and has made 23 appearances for the club with one goal to his name.
