Three Baltic Cup wins under 17: Estonia has topped the podium in that regional tournament in 2009, 2014 and 2017, but finished second five times and third on eight further occasions.

Fixtures against Denmark have bookended the team's record since: the same opponent handed out an 8-0 defeat in 2022, the heaviest in the side's history, against a 7-0 win over Liechtenstein in 2019 at the other extreme.

The biggest test came at home. Estonia hosted the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in May and June 2026, its first time staging a UEFA final tournament at this age level, having previously held the under-19 finals in 2012. Matches were split across four grounds, with the A. Le Coq Arena in Tallinn, known locally as Lilleküla Stadium and holding 14,336, serving as one of them.
