FC Motown II

FC Motown II have won the Metropolitan Division of USL League Two twice running, in 2025 and 2026. The first title came with an 11–1 record. The playoffs then ended it in the Eastern Conference semifinal, where they lost to Vermont Green FC, who went on to take the championship. A year earlier they had finished second in the division and gone out in the opening playoff round to Western Mass Pioneers.

The side exists to feed FC Motown, the senior club in Montclair, New Jersey. That club began in 2012 as a co-ed recreational team in Morristown, run by co-owners Scott Kindzierski and Dan Karosen. It played as Clarkstown SC Eagles until it took the Motown name in December 2017, and it entered the National Premier Soccer League the following year. The second team came in 2021, when it joined the United Soccer League (USL) League Two. It spent its first season in the Deep North Division and moved to the Metropolitan Division in 2022.

What the organisation sells to young players is the way out. Francis Jacobs signed with Orange County SC in 2019 at the age of 14, and Aaron Cervantes had done the same the year before at 15. Since then Luke Biasi and Marc Ybarra have gone to Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, and Landon Johnson and Rivendi Melvin Pierre-Louis to Richmond Kickers.

Their home is Pittser Field, an artificial-turf ground in Montclair that holds 5,000.

The Metropolitan Division puts them against Ironbound SC, Staten Island Athletic, Long Island Rough Riders and Hudson Valley Hammers. Those are the clubs Motown II must beat every summer to keep the title they have held for two years.
