Nona

Fabio Silva started with an academy. The Nona Soccer Academy came first, and the men's team grew out of it: it was announced in April 2021 as Lake Nona's semi-professional side, having been founded the year before.

Nona FC entered USL League Two in the summer of 2022 and won the Southeast Division at the first attempt, finishing top with 37 points. The playoffs were shorter. West Virginia United beat them 2-1 in the Southern Conference quarter-finals. The club still describes that season as a "Southeast Conference Championship", though the Southern Conference title that year went to Asheville City SC. What Nona won was the division.

The team wears orange and black, has a Longhorn as its mascot and uses the slogan "We Are Nona". Its home matches are played in Kissimmee, at Austin-Tindall Regional Park, not in Lake Nona itself. The bleachers hold 1,500.

Two local fixtures give the season its edge. Against Brooke House FC the games are called the "Orlando Derby". The bigger one is the "Rodeo Derby" with Brave SC, and it has produced three wins, three draws and three defeats for each side, so neither can claim the upper hand.

Since that first season Nona has finished second in the Southeast Division every year from 2023 to 2026. It has not won the division again, and it has no conference title of its own.
