Sueno

Sueño play their home games indoors, on 85,000 square feet of turf inside the Lake Barrington FieldHouse, a sportsplex in Lake Barrington, Illinois. The club itself is registered in Bolingbrook, and the club is also associated with Spartan Athletic Park in Aurora.

Matt Pearson started the club in January 2023 and still runs it as co-owner and head coach. He is Scottish, holds a UEFA A Licence and had worked as Director of Scouting for Chicago Fire FC.

The team entered the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) in spring 2023 and, a year later, joined USL League Two, where it was placed in the Heartland Division of the Central Conference. The first season in the higher league was a hard one. Sueño won 3 of 12 games, scored 22 goals and conceded 34, and finished sixth in the division on 10 points, which left them out of the playoffs.

Ernesto Perez was among the scorers, with a goal against Des Moines Menace, and Daniel Salazar kept goal.

Their rivals in the division are Chicago Dutch Lions FC and River Light FC.
