St. Croix

Stillwater Pony Stadium belongs to a school first: it is also known as Stillwater Area High School Stadium, and the address, 5701 Stillwater Boulevard, is in Oak Park Heights. The Legends borrow it for their USL League Two home games. That suits a club whose parent, the St. Croix Soccer Club, has run youth and competitive football out of Stillwater since 1984 and draws players from the Twin Cities area and western Wisconsin.

The senior side began as a USL League Two franchise in 2022 under the name St. Croix SC. For the 2024 season it became St. Croix Legends FC, with black and yellow as its colours.

The rebrand year was also the club's best. The Minnesota Super Cup was played for the first time in 2024, and St. Croix won the final 3-0 against Minneapolis City SC. Matches between the two are sometimes called the Twin Cities derby, though the name is informal and has no official standing.

That cup is the only honour on the club's record. No league or divisional title in USL League Two has followed it, and no player from the St. Croix Soccer Club or the Legends has yet moved up to a higher professional league.
