About the player
Keno turned professional late by the standards of Brazilian football, starting out at América-SE at 23, and spent years working through lower-tier clubs and loan spells — Paraná, Santa Cruz, Atlas in Mexico, Ponte Preta.
Palmeiras gave him a Campeonato Brasileiro Série A title in 2018, and that summer he left Brazil for Pyramids FC in Egypt in a deal reported at around ten million dollars, followed by a loan to Al Jazira in the UAE.
Since joining Fluminense at the end of 2022, Keno has barely had a quiet season. He won the Taça Guanabara and Campeonato Carioca in 2023, then lifted the Copa Libertadores that same year, followed by the Recopa Sudamericana in 2024. He switched from squad number 25 to 11 at the club. In January 2026 he was loaned out to Coritiba.
