About the player
He spent three years there, then switched to NK Rudeš for a single youth season before joining the senior ranks at NK Lokomotiva Zagreb in 2023.
The breakthrough came away from Lokomotiva. Sent on loan to NK Sesvete for the 2023/24 season, Sušak became one of the more productive attackers in the Prva NL, the Croatian second tier, scoring 10 goals in 32 appearances. That form was enough to earn him a contract extension when he returned to Lokomotiva in June 2024, signing for Turkish side Pendikspor on a deal running to 2029.
A left winger by trade despite being right-footed, Sušak has also had a taste of international football, picking up two caps for Croatia's under-21 side.
