T. Aranda

Tomás Aranda made his professional debut for Boca Juniors on 28 January 2026, coming off the bench against Estudiantes de La Plata, and his first start followed against Lanús. He scored his first official goal on 22 March 2026, in a 2-0 win over Instituto. In July 2026 the club handed him the number 10 shirt.

Before reaching the first team, Aranda captained Boca's Séptima División side to a championship under coach Antonio Barijho, and in 2025 won both the Torneo de Reserva and the Trofeo de Campeones de Reserva with the reserve squad. He signed his first professional contract in September 2024, tying him to the club into 2029. By mid-2026 he had made 20 league appearances, with one goal and three assists, as an attacking midfielder.

His progress has extended to the national team set-up. Aranda was capped by Argentina's under-20 side in 2026 before earning a senior call-up, making his debut for the full national team on 6 June 2026 in a friendly against Honduras, again coming on as a substitute in a 2-0 win. He was subsequently named in Argentina's preliminary 55-man squad for the World Cup.
