Fenestela sit outside Romania's honours boards but not outside contention: two straight bronzes in the Cupa României, in 2023–2024 and 2024–2025, both settled the same way, a 1–5 loss to CSA Steaua București in the third-place match.

The club as it now plays traces to 2005, when HC Bikák of Târgu Secuiesc merged with Sfântu Gheorghe's Királypingvinek to form ACSHC Fenestela 68. In 2021 the youth ranks of those same two predecessors were merged again, this time to build a senior side under a new name, Háromszéki Ágyúsok, meant to represent the whole Székely Land rather than one town. The cannon on the badge points to Gábor Áron, who cast cannons for the 1848 Revolution in this region, and the club's black and orange draw on the Székely flag alongside the blue and orange carried over from the old sides.

Home games are played at the Patinoarul "Deme László", an artificial rink opened in 2017 that holds 550. Games against ACSH Gheorgheni and against Csíkszereda in Miercurea Ciuc carry the weight of local rivalry, fought under the Covasna Derby and Harghita Derby names.

Zsombor Molnár came through at Fenestela before his form earned a call-up to the Romanian national side for the 2025 IIHF World Championship Division I Group A.
