Caldas thought they had got back into it when L. van der Gaag pulled a goal back in the sixty-first minute. It gave a flicker of hope, but Luletano responded immediately. N. Martelo restored the two-goal cushion just five minutes later, and the momentum was entirely with the visitors. The home side would not be denied a second chance, though.

Daniel Paulino added a late consolation for Caldas in the eighty-fourth, but the damage was done.
