Igor Gorgonzola Novara Women — Chieri ’76 Volleyball Women: 3:0, Club Friendly Women

Игор Горгонцола Новара beat Кьери 76 3-0 in a women's cup match on 30 September 2026. The hosts closed out the tie without dropping a set, adding to their recent record against the visitors.

Novara had lost three straight to Imoco Volley Conegliano in March before turning things around. They had also beaten Chieri 76 twice earlier in the season, 3-1 and 3-2, so this result fits a pattern they have established against the away side.

Chieri 76 came into the fixture on a run of four wins in five, including two 3-0 shutouts against Cuneo and Fiorentina. They had also beaten Macerata 3-1 before that, but the loss to UIBA Busto-Arsizio in early April showed they could be vulnerable.

The scoreline told the story without much drama. Novara took control early and never let the visitors back in, while Chieri 76 had little to do all evening. The away side did not travel to make up the numbers and found themselves chasing the game from the start.

By then the tie was already decided. Novara had won the previous two meetings between these sides and extended that advantage with a comfortable victory. The result means the hosts move further clear in their campaign, while Chieri 76's unbeaten run comes to an end.
