Chieri ’76 Volleyball Women

Chieri '76 began in 2009 as a purchase. The In Alto Chieri association bought a Serie B2 licence and the assets of Carol's Volley, and the side was registered on 14 May as Chieri '76 Carol's. The name looked back. The '76 honoured Chieri Volley, the town's established women's club, which existed from 1976 to 2013, so for four years Chieri had both.

The younger club never won a domestic title. It has no Serie A1 championship, Coppa Italia or Italian Super Cup. Its best league finish is fourth, in 2022-23, and it has lost three Coppa Italia semi-finals, in 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2023-24. The trophies came from Europe instead, three years running. The first was the Western European Volleyball Zonal Association (WEVZA) Cup in 2022. The Challenge Cup followed in 2022-23, with a final win over the Romanian side CSM Lugoj. In 2023-24 Chieri won the CEV Cup by beating Neuchâtel UC of Switzerland 3-0 and 3-1.

Ofelia Malinov, the Italian setter, spent 2023-24 in the squad, the season of the CEV Cup.

Chieri's local rivalry is with Cuneo Volley. Against Igor Gorgonzola Novara the two sides' meetings are known as the "Derby Infinito", the Infinite Derby.

Chieri are in Serie A1 again, alongside the Coppa Italia, where the semi-final is still as far as they have gone. Ilaria Spirito captained the side in 2025-26. For 2026-27 the names attached to the squad include the American Logan Eggleston and the Italian Marina Lubian.
