Vallefoglia Women

PalaMegabox seats 2,001 and stands in Pesaro, not Vallefoglia — the club carries its founding town's name but plays its matches a few kilometres away. White and green mark out the Tigers on court there.

Megavolley started in that division in 2019, buying its way in with the sporting rights of Volley Ospitaletto. A year later it bought again, this time from Due Principati di Baronissi, to move up to Serie A2 — and in 2020–21 won the eastern group before beating Union Volley Pinerolo in the promotion final, reaching Serie A1 for the first time. Two ninth-place finishes followed in its first two top-flight seasons, then progress: seventh in 2023–24 brought the club's first appearance in the championship playoffs, and seventh again in 2024–25 came with a Challenge Cup run it won outright, its first taste of European competition.

That run set up what followed. On 18 March 2026, in Athens, Megavolley beat Panathinaikos 3-0 in the CEV Challenge Cup final — the club's first European trophy and the first major title in its short history. It came in the same season the team finished sixth in Serie A1 and reached the quarterfinals of both the domestic playoffs and the Coppa Italia.

The fixture that still matters most in Le Marche has nothing to do with Europe. Against CBF Balducci Macerata, the Derby delle Marche, form and standings tend to count for less than the name on the other bench.
